Carol's Story
All of you at Weatherwax would remember me as Brooke Bohannon. Went through some weird phase where I hated my name so I changed it. Thankfully (according to my mother) it was a short lived phase.
You can find me on facebook / Tacoma Network.
After high school I moved to the South End and ended up working for a company in Kent for about 11 years. I started out as their Accounts Payable clerk, and then moved into the payroll department. While I was doing this I went to a local community college for a degree in accounting. By the time I left I was running the entire accounting department. Since then I have moved around to a few different jobs furthering my experience my career. I now have a great job in the Bremerton area and with this unstable economy it's nice to have a secure job.
I moved to Tacoma in 1999, bought a home met a guy got married had a then divorced. That turned out to be a very exhausting 4 years!
Life has settled down for me lately. I live in a lovely home on 8 acres complete with 4 cats and 2 Labrador retrievers "Belle& Bailey". My son, Ty...Expand for more
ler just bought a home, got married and turned 24 all in the past 12 months. I have forbid him to have any kids until I am at least 50. HA! HA!
I have done a lot of traveling since high school, some work related and some recreational. I made a trip to Paris and Spain what a wonderful experience. I just returned from Maui, Gypsy and I went there for Jeanette Erickson's wedding. Also completed the Susan G. Komen 3 day walk for breast cancer in September. I walked all 60 miles and finsished in the top 350 (out of 3300 walkers) each day. HOOORAAHHH!
Making ready for another round of holidays - can't believe it's already that time again. Remember how our parents used to tell us "time flies when you get older"? boy where they right. Turns out they were right about a lot of things.
Been spening a lot of time on facebook reconnecting with old friends and catching up on the past 20 - 30 years - it has been so much fun finding old friends from way way back like Peshastin Dryen! Had a super busy summer of 2009 - love fall but sad to move on to 5 months of rain and gray.
