Carol's Story

Life Currently living near Cleveland OH, but was born and raised in Columbus OH. Had lots of friends in school. Lost contact and miss them. Have two daughters and two grandchildren. No brothers or sisters. School I remember going to elementary school at Fourth Street and then moving into the new Mohawk elementary and junior high when built. Went to live with my mom in 4th grade and ended up at Beck Street. Then went back to Mohawk in the 5th and 6th. Then moved again and started junior high at Everett Jr. Never really ever fit in. No friends. Went back to live with my grandmother the 2nd half of 7th grade and got back to Mohawk. Graduated from 9th grade in 1960. Love the Mohawk and all the staff. d then North High through 11th grade. Did not go back my senior year. Got married in august 1962 (like a fool) and did not finish. College Started Columbus State in 1980. Had gotten a divorce and needed to get a degree in something. Stated out in Social Services, but did not complete because ex-husband wanted me to work for him in his insurance agency and get remarried. Then went back to get my insurance degree and was involved in a car accident and did not finish. Did get licensed to sell life, auto, home and business. Workplace Have worked in many lines of business. Work for the US Census Bureau doing surveys. Worked in the dry cleaning business, sold insurnace and worked in a department store. Last job was working for the State of Ohio in the Department of Administrative Services. great job, wonderful co-workers and friends
