My Spouse
I WAS MARRIED TO DAVID MCLAIN FOR 23 YEARS,DIVORCED, SINGLE FOR 11 YEARS AND MARRIED 15 YEARS. I MET JERRY AT HIS MOMS HOUSE. SHE AND I HAD BEEN FRIENDS FOR MANY YEARS. HE WAS A WIDOWER WITH 4 SONS AND I WAS A SINGLE, WORKING GIRL.

I HAVE I SON, 2 DAUGHTERS, AND 4 STEP-SONS. I ALSO HAVE 15 GRANDCHILDREN 1 SURGATE GRANDSON, 6 GREAT-GRANDKIDS. I'm married to second husband Jerry Smasal. We have an enjoyable life and seem to always be busy even though we are :RETIRED" Well, that's not completely true because I have a little job, just 4 hours a day just 2 days a week. I'm definitely not in it for the money. But it's really good for me to get out of the house and see people.
. Jerry and I still have the 7 kids total but now they all have wives and girlfriends and all 3 of my kids have pretty much grown. adult children with kids of their own. I have 11 grands on my side of the family and now have 4 from his side. I also have 6 great-grand kids. I love every moment of being a grandma. We really have no distinction between his and mine.....they are all ours.
Since being married to Jerry we have bought a fifth wheel and love to go, go go.
Our first camper was a pull behind that I totaled out on hwy 70 coming back from Colorado. I did a good job at demolition......even totaled our F-25...Expand for more
0 Ford truck. So I will not drive the campers any more........One wreck like that is enough for me. Luckily, The Good LORD was with us and the worse thing to happen to us was a big knot on my forehead.
We enjoy going camping or any other kind of trips. This year we plan on a trip to Virginia, (to see Jerry's brother and his wife), a cruise to Alaska, and of course the class reunion in September. We have taken our camper to Missouri, Arkansas, Colorado and several places in Oklahoma. Haven't taken it on REALLY long trips as yet, maybe next year.
I'm one of those "old fashioned" housewives. I can garden, can the produce from it, make bread and sew, and make quilts. I also enjoy different craft projects and love to cook.
I really enjoy hearing from anyone from "HOME" So....You'all write me ya hear. This Okie girl will answer you.

I HAVE REALLY ENJOYED HUNTING FOR CLASSMATES FOR OUR UPCOMING 50TH CLASS REUNION. I'VE GOTTEN BETTER AQUAINTED WITH RICK PETERS, WELDON SOUTHERN, RON SOMERHALTER, AND MARY BRANSCUM AND ROD YODER. AS FOR BARBARA GHISELLI (BARONI) WE'VE KNOWN EACH OTHER SINCE FIRST GRADE AND WE ARE STILL FRIENDS. I LOVE AND APPRECIATE ALL MY FRIENDS. WITHOUT FRIENDS WE ARE VERY LONELY PEOPLE. MY THEORY IS TO CHERISH ALL THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SPECIAL IN YOUR LIFE BECAUSE THEY WERE PUT THERE FOR A REASON.
