Carol's Story

Obviously, a lot has happened in the 40 years since we graduated. Yikes! It seems impossible that it's been that long. I moved back to Oklahoma in 2008 after living in Santa Fe, NM for 22 years. I now live in Sapulpa. Never thought I would do that. I teach elementary special ed. Love it. Have one daughter, and 4 grand children. The 3 oldest are boys, 14, 10, and 3. The youngest is a girl 20 months old. Spend a lot of time with the youngest ones. Have the baby almost every weekend. th children. In Santa Fe I first worked as a stock broker then went back to teaching something I did when I first graduated from TU. Hiked a lot and enjoyed the mountains and weather in Santa Fe. No mosquitoes and your pets didn't get fleas. If it was 90 during the day, it could get down to the fifties at night. Great! Got married young had a child and divorced in 73. Never remarried. Have been happy back here spending time with my family. I have a lot of relatives in Sapulpa. I am a homebody and am happy with that. I have been blessed!
