Carol's Story
Life
This section is titled "Life" and what a crazy one we have had. It is true what does not kill you will make you stronger. I became the mother of a little boy Gary, my senior year of high school (we graduated in June of 1987). I married Ken Ganiere February of 1988 and our second child Crystal was born December of that same year. Our third child Carli was born May of 1993 and Ken and I were divorced July of that same year. Ken and I were in love but our life together in the begining was rough. I attended BBCC for 2 years and became an administrative asstistant (secretary). In January of 1997 Ken and I were married for the second time with our children by our side we figured we would try again. e Mechanic for Genie Industries. We have vacationed at the Oregon Dunes every year since Carli was a toddler. We ride our quads and camp with our friends for a week every summer. On July 20th of 2003 as we were on our annual vacation to the dunes Ken was killed in a accident on the dunes with another quad rider. It was a long trip back to Moses Lake for the kids and I and our friends that were with us. Ken was a good man he could use his mouth washed out on occasion but he loved his family and his friends. The kids and I have stuck this out together and we are stonger for it. Gary has a full time job as a welder, Crystal is graduating from high school and going on to college, and the baby Carli will be in high school this coming fall. "God takes you to it and he will walk you through it".
