My parents, Marie and Charles Thompson. June 30, 1949. Quite a handsome couple, I must say.
So today, my Mom got her wings and passed on. Active and feisty until the very end, Mom always let us know exactly what she was thinking and what she wanted. I will miss our daily talks and her wise counsel.
My one and only son's birthday is today. Technically at 6:09pm to be precise. But we celebrate the only and only Christopher Gordon with much love and gratitude for the wonderful grandchildren!!

As I was leaving Baltimore yesterday...
Half Moon Cay. One of the islands in the Bahamas. I spent a perfect day today doing a lot of nothing.
A little storm cloud over Freeport. Crying (the cloud, not me) because I leave the Bahamas today. This has been the greatest week. Much needed and truly relaxing.
I just left this for wet Baltimore weather. I'm still on the ship. Do I really have to get off? I'd like to turn around and go right back!!
