Michael's Story
Life
Hi!!
Life has been a blast! Somehow, the few quiet times always burst into new uncontrollable adventures. Lucky to have made it this far I suppose.
I did some growing up till about the age of 15 in the Lombard - Villa Park area of Illinois where I attended St. Pius Elementary School and Willowbrook High. The word 'attended' seems non committal enough. Dear Teachers: don't you miss the little mischief makers in class?... best move on. Sister Inez was probably the most understanding person I have ever known beside my wife. Although my parents helped bring the fascinating world of science and engineering to life at a very early age, Sister Inez instilled the structure of geometry and mathematics. I hope you guys in the Willowbrook restroom near the auditorium didn't mind the firworks too much... they can be quite noisy when someone just wants peace and quiet sometimes.

ellent teachers at Mt. Dora including Mrs.Spear and Lovelace. In Florida, I met Carol and we have been married ever since. I like to think that she expected the large number of unexpected adventures. These stories must wait another time though. I just hope some of the folks have forgotten the swinging shock box at the UCF Physics open house.
We moved to East Lansing Michigan and Syracuse NY for graduate school. After which, I worked at Cornell University as a PostDoc/Visiting Scientist and at the Rome Laboratory. Again many crazy times with many friends. Landing planes on snowy frozen lakes, skiing into rocks at night (...great shooting sparks to see the splintering skiis), and oh, that bad Santa. A lot of great times that make great stories ... another time. Lots of great research too.
From the central NY area, we moved to Central NJ where I'm faculty at a university and Carol is an HR Director. Those students can really be mischievous at times. Carol keeps putting out the fires (personelwise that is). Lots of fun teaching and researching.
I hear sirens, gotta run.
