Carol's Story
Life
I had the privilege of coming to know the Lord Jesus during my senior year. I became born again and full of His Peace and Joy!! I have had many trials with my health to endure. I was out most of my senior year because of illness. Yet, in spite of all this, by God's Grace and Goodness, I graduated with all of you in 1981 and then went on to nursing school and became a registered nurse in 1985. I worked and did traveling nurse assignments. My health began to cause problems and I stopped nursing. I went back to college via home study and received a BS in Psychology from a Christian university where I had the chance to study the Bible at length and was so blessed to really know much more about God! I went on to pursue a Masters in Religion and Counseling at the same university. In 1999, after being single all my life, "Mr. Right" found me on Christian connection online and we began writing, met, fell in love and married. val of our daughter Sarah Joy! She developed serious health problems shortly after birth. She had a brain cyst at 9 months and underwent brain surgery. She developed severe scoliosis, cerebral palsy and a dopamine disorder. She cannot walk or talk. Her scoliosis has pushed on her lungs so bad, she just became ventilator dependent last year but God is faithful. This little precious girl almost died three times, wasn't supposed to make it to 1 year old and just last December she turned five years old. She is the joy of our lives! Her handicap and severe disability does not take away her playfulness, her smiles, her curly blonde hair and beautiful eyes. She is the darling daughter we deeply love. If you are reading this and are facing a hardship, know God is with you, never leaves you and if you trust in His Son Jesus, He will save you from your sins and come and live in your heart -- He will give you a beautiful life you never dreamed in spite of difficulty circumstances.
