Carol's Story
Life
Education
After high school, I attended the University of Nevada - Las Vegas and earned a BS in Computer Science Engineering. I'm currently finishing work on an MBA in Marketing from the University of Phoenix.
Family
After graduation from UNLV, I moved to Phoenix, AZ and married. I have two children, both girls, Jessica (8) and Katie (6).
Work
After college, I was hired at Honeywell (Phoenix, AZ) as a Software Engineer.
Afer a few years, I went to work at Circle K Corp (Phoenix, AZ) as a Business Anlayst.
After a couple years there, I became a consultant for JDA Software (Scottsdale, AZ) and traveled to Chicago, Germany, and San Francisco to implement enterprise sofware applications.
After a couple years there, the travel became too much, so I took a couple independent contracting jobs and had my first child (Jessica).

t Best Western Intl as a Sr Programmer Analyst at the end of 2000 and had my second child.
At the end of 2004, I was laid off when Best Western outsourced their IT department. I went back out on the road as a consultant for ResultsPositive for the next year.
At the end of 2005, I was tired of the travel and my husband was laid off from Honeywell so I took a job at St Jude Children's Hospital (Memphis, TN) as a Sr Business Analyst. A year later I took to a job at Smith & Nephew (Memphis, TN) as a Lead Developer where I am currently.
We started a business in real estate this year renovating and renting properties. I'm working on a business plan to start my own IT company.
Hobbies
I love scrapbooking when I have time. I enjoy gardening, museums, almost anything on the History and Discovery channels, The Daily Show, and crafts with my kids.
