Carol's Story
Life
I attended Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA. I finished in December 1986 and got a job in town at The Free Lance-Star. I left that in 1990 and went to work for Prison Fellowship Ministries in Reston, VA. I still live in Reston, where I bought a small townhouse in 1999, but at the end of 2000, I was laid off from PFM. Next, I worked for Nextel, less than two miles away, but after four years, I made a total career change. I now sell furniture at The RoomStore in Chantilly. I attend Sovere...Expand for more
ign Grace Church of Fairfax along with my sister Gayle and my brother Wes, who both attended Fort Hunt. They are both married and have children who are the lights of my life. Staying single has afforded me the opportunity not only to spend lots of time with my nieces and nephews but also to do some traveling. I've been to Australia, Jamaica, and a Western Caribbean cruise, and I've visited Texas, California, Colorado, Tennessee, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New York, Florida and a few other places in between.
