Carol's Story
Life
Single mom with two wonderful children. Yes I am pretty crazy and had children late in life. My first child, Greg Rodriguez (named after his father for those of you who knew him), was killed at the age of 19 in an accident at work in 1988. I miss him every day and could never replace his memory in my heart. I am very grateful I have my two children now to make my life complete.
Colin is 17 and will graduate from Righetti High School in June 08. He had a job for about 7 months but was let g due to illness. He bought a car with money he had saved and is currently looking for work. He plans to go to Hancock College for a year until he can decide what he wants to be when he grows up...

l be going to Righetti High School in the fall. She has been playing soccer since she was 4 and is on a club team playing, and winning quite a bit, all throughout the state. She wants to try out for the varsity soccer team at Righetti...yes she's that good! She already has plans to attend UCSB and major in criminal justice. Her goal is to become a CSI.
I am not working due to disability from a car accident in 04. I am still very active in my children's lives and try to travel to soccer tournaments with my daughter's team when I am physically and financially able. Yes, that's me, a soccer mom at the age of 56.... almost 57!!! I have many very good friends and spend time with them often. I also volunteer when I can and am an active member of AA. Overall....life is good!
