Carol's Story
I thought it about time to update my story.I am married for 48 yrs to my husband Russell.We have 3 grandchildren.Eldest is John 21,Katie 17 and Logan 3.Logan lives with his mom and dad in s. daytona ,fl.I miss him terribly.The grandkids up here are doing well. Katie goes to OLMA in Syosset,an all girls school and is now a senior.John is in his 3rd year of college at Farmingdale and is studying criminal justice.As I had mentioned ,my husband is ill and can not travel with me.I was so upset to miss the reunion,but I was diagnosed with parotid cancer at that time.I am doing well and feel fine.Just have to follow up for a couple yrs with my surgeon and oncologist.Susie sent pics to me and also an enlarg...Expand for more
ed photo of our class by mail and who was who.It made me cry but also happy to see my old friends.The girls did a great job with the reunion.Since I wrote my old story,my other sister moved down to Fl,so now all my siblings are down there,but I will see them soon.I keep busy with books,my passion is reading.Also anything on TCM channel.Love those old movies.My daughter,Lisa and I go shopping,even though I am not a shopper.I have terrific neighbors who always ask if they can help us.I smile and say thanks,but my day out is food shopping and I keep telling them I am well.And I am.Well ,update finished.Take care everyone.Hope you stop by and send me a note if you like.Alll my best,carol OConnell Hayward
