More about Carol:"This is my grandson Josh who was our 2008 Homecoming King. i have "8" more grandchildren though, and they are actually all ROYALTY!! I have three beautiful dtrs who are married and one handsome son in Heaven-gone but not forgotten. I also have an infant grandson in Heaven with my son Jamie; they are my guardian angels here on earth. I have done a lot of fun things with my grandchildren over the years - it would take a series of books to tell about it all - those memories are stored in my heart. I suppose the most have been shared with my oldest grandchild, Chantel. What is important is that we have LAUGHED a lot! I love to write; it releases my heart. Went to Country School for 8 years in rural Harmony, MN (loved it); we were like "family." High school at Harmony, MN. I worked for public accountants in Rochester for 3 yrs after grad as secretary, moved back home to farm when became ill (grew up on farm in IA and always will be a country girl at heart); went to college at Winona State; got married to Lynn Dale Turner, had 4 babies in 5 yrs; widowed at 33; remarried and totally happy for 10 years but sad ending to that too, worked as office manager also for 10 years for Spec Educ Coop of 8 local schools at Chatfield Elem and loved all the children and staff); went back to school at RCTC, have worked at Mayo for 22 yrs now as medical transcriptionist, will retire soon hopefully; dream of being a missionary as just love Mother Teresa and her compassion for others, or to work for Billy Graham Evangelistic Assoc in NC as he is my hero in life (and my Dad too of course), or with handpped people in some way (love their smiles cuz so hard to make those muscles work sometimes for them) but probably too old now for any of that as a career now; would love to travel if can afford to or win the lottery but have been blessed already on many bus trips and a couple cruises so far (with my dtrs/friends), so may just dream about what is left to do but that's okay...better to have a vision than nothing at all in sight. Life has been one challenge after another...I wonder sometimes what is next but in God's hands! Grateful to have made many wonderful friends along the way. That's in a nutshell....".
