Workplace
As of 1996, I have been teaching Junior Olympic Gymnastics to girls ranging in age from 2 1/2 years old to about 15 or 16 years of age. It is a very rewarding job and I look forward to going to work each and every day. I teach the pre-schoolers (3-5yrs.),recreational children (6 yrs. and over) as well as the competetive team. We compete around the state of Texas and in Oklahoma and Louisiana too! I have three beautiful girls of my own. My middle child,13 yrs.old competes at a different gym than mine, and is competing at a high level (10) this season! Her coaches expect many things from her. If she has a good season, she may go National or International next year!! Who knows? Maybe one day, we'll see her on TV! My smallest is a cheerleader. But not like the cheerleaders we used to see on the sidelines at the Waterford High football games. No, there's a different kind of cheerleader these days. quired! If you can't tumble, jump atleast 4 feet into the air and be willing to be thrown another 15 more feet into the air, FORGET IT!! You'll never make! Now, my oldest daughter, she's 15, is something else!!! I don't know quite how to describe her..... she's part Hillary Clinton, part Donna Shalayla, part rocket scientist and a million other things all rolled onto one! Let's just put it this way guys: She wants to rule the world one day!! No doubt about it. Whoever she marries, whew, I just don't know what kind of advise I'm going to give him. All kidding aside, she's a great kid that would do anything for anyone and I wouldn't trade her for the world. And as for me, I'm single right now and kickin' it back for about a year while I'm recovering from some major back and neck surgery. One too many flips I guess! :0 Anyway, Y'all have a great day!
UPDATE July 24, 2003: I'm finally back to work!! Yeah!! And, now I'm working at the gym that trains my middle child. (It only took a year to heel everything!) Must be getting old. :)
