Life
Hi! I've raised two children of my own and three foster children, lived all over the country, including Hawaii, and retired two years ago after twenty-seven years in our state child welfare agency. I'd love to hear from you.
College
I enjoyed college, practicing being my own self (and finding out who that was while still being protected by the system at St. Joe's) I enjoyed developing,...Expand for more
expanding, breaking the rules (I now wonder if that wasn't part of the plan to educate us into mature women. . . I can't believe they didn't know some of the stuff we got away with!), meeting such diverse people from this, and other, countries. I still regret that they wouldn't accept Blacks into St. Joe's or the Mount. I felt we needed it then, and I feel we could have benefitted even more now.
