Here is a synopsis of my life since we graduated from high school. I dated John Morrell in high school, we started going steady in April 1966, and were married in December 1967. In April 1968, I gave birth to our daughter, Terri In the summer after we graduated high school I went to work at Pacific Telephone and Telegraph, as an information operator. I worked there until shortly before I gave birth to my daughter, Terri. After she was born I was a stay at home mom until she was three & a half years old. Then I went to work at the Automobile Club of Southern California . John & I were married for 5 years and then divorced. I was a single mom & put my self thru night school/college while working full time at AAA Auto Club. AAA also sent me to school to become a travel agent. I earned my CTC, Certified Travel Consultant degree in Travel Management in 1984. I worked as a travel agent & also managed the travel agency at AAA, for a total of 25yrs. During my career at the Auto Club I worked in various AAA offices: North Hollywood, Canoga Park, Woodland Hills, Northridge, Century City, AAA Headquarters at Adams & Figueroa in downtown Los Angeles. and San Diego. My job as a travel agent afforded me many opportunities to travel. I have traveled to Western Europe, Southeast Asia (Hong Kong, the Philippines, Borneo, Singapore, Thailand, Bali), China & Tibet, Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada, Alaska & Hawaii. I studied Spanish in San Miguel de Allende, in the Colonial area of Mexico. At the 15th Cleveland class of '67 reunion I reconnected with Bill Verbano. He too graduated in the class of S'67. We had known each other in the seventh grade at Northridge Jr. High school but never dated. We married in Oct 1983, and we were together for 3 years before we divorced. He is now remarried. He & his wife have 2 boys & they live in Pennsylvania. The only reason I stopped working at AAA was because I had a cerebral aneurysm & stroke in Nov 1993. By the grace of God I survived.
