Carol (June)'s Story
Life
WhatÂs up Classmates? After being home for a little over two years I find that I am seeing more people and rekindling friendships that I had lost over the years. It has been great seeing allot of you these past years. I have changed a bit. I am more out going, Involved 100% of my daughterÂs school and after school activities. Her friends call me the "Cool Mom" which is fine by me. I love doing things for her and her friends. The military was hard and a huge learning experience for me. If I could I would do it over and maybe this time not fractures anything. I am still battling with my hip but I am doing exercise to strengthen it, like curves and swimming. I was in the Veterans Day Parade in town, saw some of you...I am proud to be an American Military Veteran. looking forward to seeing and hearing from you all. please check out my myspace account at carol june

Military
HI EVERYONE, WITH AN HONORABLE DISCHARGE FROM THE MILITARY. HOPE TO GO TO COLLEGE WITH THE EDUCATION I EARNED FROM THE MILITARY AND GO TO OFFICERS SCHOOL THAT WAY I CAN STAY IN THE MILITARY. I WAS ON FT. JACKSON FOR 10 MONTHS, MOST OF THAT WAS IN A REHABILITATION PROGRAM CALLED PTRP- WAS THERE 15 WEEKS THE FIRST TIME AND 6 1/2 THE SECOND TIME AND RETURNING BACK TO TRAINING FOR A TOTAL OF 15 1/2 WEEKS. YES I WENT THRU BCT TWICE. 1ST TIME I GOT THRU TO BLUE PHASE AND THE 2ND TIME I WAS SUPPOSED TO GO TO BLUE BUT SENT ME ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE 2ND WEEK OF RED, IT WAS A SET BACK BUT WITH DETERMINATION IN MY BLOOD I DIDN'T LET IT BOTHER ME AND DROVE ON. THEN I DEVELOPED THE HIP FRACTURE AND DIDN'T WANT TO QUIT SO I KEPT GOING AND NEVER LOOKED BACK. ONCE I GOT TO A.I.T THE DOCTORS TOLD ME I HAD TO RETURN TO REHAB OR RISK THE CHANCE OF BEING PERMENETLY DISABLED...ONCE THERE THEY TOLD ME EVEN IF I DID HEAL AND RETURNED TO AIT,, I HAVE A HIGH CHANCE OF GETTING INJURYED AGAIN BECAUSE I HAVE HAD 3 STRESS FRACTURES BEFORE, SO MY CHANCE WERE TO GO HOME AND HEAL AND TRY TO COME BACK FULLY RESTED AND READY TO TRAIN. I STILL HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY HIP AND DOING WHAT I CAN TO HEAL SO I CAN RETURN..
