Life
My Pets
I train, groom and show dogs.I raise the sheep for market.
My Kids
My son followed in the footsteps of his late Father. He is a motion picture camerman. He has worked on the movie Joe Dirt and various others. He lives in California. He also is pictured in March's 2001 GQ Magazine.
My daughter is attending college and will be an x-ray tech upon completion of her internship. She lives a few miles from me and also trains and shows dogs. So we are together most every weekend. My son is married. My daughter is single and I do not have any grandchildren at this time.
My Job
The beginning of October '07, I went back to the corporate world due to hours being cut at the vet. This time I am closer to home and working for a healthcare center that I worked at from 1972 to 1984. I must admit the larger paychecks were missed when I worked for the vet and there were no health benefits there. So far, I am enjoying being back in the healthcare industry.
On Dec. 23rd 2005 I married my longtime partner. I decided to keep my last name as Nielsen.
