Carol's Story
Life
I live in Honesdale PA with my kids. I have a small farm, kinda like the one we had on Burnt Meadow Road. I am engaged to a great man from Union City NJ. Have a 4 year old grandson. I cant stand going back to Burnt Meadow due to the changes made to the area since my fathers family settled the area. I remember when shop rite was over by Bearport is now or did that move too?! I like my life up here. Its just like when I was growning up on BMR. Not too many neighbors but the down...Expand for more
fall is that most of my cousins are down in southern NJ. Arnie and Ronnie are in S. Jersey. Stephen is in Texas.
The funny part of up here is that they are afraid of change they dont like "outsiders" They want the tourism so they can make money off of you but dont stay or buy their land. I HAVE A BUMPER STICKER THAT SAYS "IF ITS TOURIST SEASON, WHY CANT WE SHOOT THEM?!"
