Carol's Story
Life
After attending California State College and graduating with a BS degree in Elementary Education, I taught Kindergarten, 2nd
grade and primary gifted classes in West Virginia. I married a teacher/counselor who became a school psychologist. We have been married for 22 years and have a son who is 17 yrs. and a daughter who is 9 yrs. Our home is in my husband's hometown in West Virginia. I am really a homebody and have been a stay-at-home mom for 17 yrs. I
am involved in all kinds of sewing and needlework, love the computer, am interested in genealogy, and have just begun matting and framing pictures in hopes that it will become a part-time occupation. I became a Chr...Expand for more
istian when I was 13 and our family attends a Southern Baptist Church. I have been away from Uniontown for 26 years and really don't miss it until I visit. The
memories are just so powerful when I return.
I am probably not well remembered since I was
terribly shy in high school but I'm NOT now!
Update 2009
We are still living in West Virginia
but hope to relocate to a metropolitan area within the next several years. My husband is still working. I am retired but wanting to
find a part-time job to make the empty nest syndrome easier. Our daughter will enter West Virginia University in the fall. Our son and
daughter-in-law are expecting their first child in December.
