Carol's Story

Life I've been in radio in Champaign and Danville since leaving Pontiac in 92. I love music, and get the chance to hear a lot of up and coming bands as Program Director of our group of radio stations. In 2000 I married Scot Medlin, and in 2002 our daughter Mae Grace was born. Our son Charlie hit the scene in 2008. In addition to working for D102 and parent company Neuhoff Media, I work for the University of Illinois. Since 2002 I've been the Public Address Announcer for Women's Basketball, Volleyball, and Men's and Women's Gymnastics. I've gotten to do some neat things as part of that job, and its a fun way to be a part ...Expand for more
of Illinois athletics. I'm pretty much the same as I ever was, just older like all of us now. I still have more cars than one person should, including my new favorite, a 78 Vette. Our next project will be restoring an old Caddy for my husband. Dad sold the farm at McDowell in 2006 and moved to Kentucky so we vacation there now, but my mom still lives in Pontiac. I don't visit much, and when I do I usually only see family. Pontiac seems to have held up well though, and its always neat to visit and see how things have changed. Sometimes its hard to believe it's been over 15 years since I've lived there. Be well, Carol
