Carol's Story
Remember, I started my "career" as a soda jerk at Backus' Drug Store at the pier. Went to several colleges and worked for several banks before settling on becoming an RN. Got my BSN at MCG and MSN at GSU. Along the way was married and divorced him although we remained pretty good friends.
I worked for the Brunswick hospital for 35 years and retired 4/1/06 to care for my dying Dad. I returned to work on an as needed basis 4/1/08. It became personally more needed the more the stock market fell. Mo...Expand for more
st of my first years in nursing were in SICU and ER, then Education. Now, Pre op and Recovery and Education. It's much more fun now that I don't have to work.
Have done a little travelling across the pond....England, Greece, Old Yugoslavia, Turkey, Italy, Amsterdam and passed through a few others. I want to go to Prague, Budapest, St Petersburg, etc.
A little golf, reading, Church things, Curves, swimming, walking and with work that's about it right now. Still love a good laugh and good friends.
