Carole Ann's Story
I left Riverside, married military. I have lived in Poway CA and then moved to Fallon, NV. In Fallon, NV I divorced and remarried another Navy man. Moved to St Clair MI. A Southern Cal girl had a hard time in Michigan, too humid and not my favorite place to be, so back to San Diego for 15 years and 2 children later. Went back to school for nursing when my youngest was 18mo old and received my Registered Nursing degree. I worked ER level 2 in San Diego and then my husband, Jay, transferred to Spokane to retire from the USN by recruiting. We have lived here since 2002 and I could not think of a more beautiful part of the country to live. en a victim of downsizing and I am looking for another nursing management position. We live 12 miles from the Idaho border and I have been networking like crazy. I am still employed as a RN, but I do want to continue to teach, mentor and put my management skills to use. We bought a" home with a view" and I guess this makes us true Californians looking to have some space between your home and the neighbors house. My husband works for the Postal Service and our oldest son Bryan is serving our country in the USN. Brendan is still in high school and I have been blessed with a solid 24yr marriage and 2 great kids. I just turned 51, but my mind still thinks I am 30. I am trying to look at it as just a number, but with age I have had a yearning to reconnect with the past.
