Carole's Story
Joined Facebook, so don't update this much. Mom, Alvina Fehling (A & A Rock-Pioneer-Sutter Creek) passed away 2015. She is buried in Pine Grove next to dad, Al Fehling, and their best friends, Eddie/Clydine Robinson, Claire/Gail Crowe.
We get to Amador Co some (camping & Villa Toscano Wine Club). Run into folks (Dillians/Dan Dagostini/Dennis Larson/Anne Thebault Sprague, Joey Deaver, Rod DIxon, Mary Ellen Germolis...keep in contact with Martha Oliver Bonham & Rita Cantrell Gibbs.) Used to look forward to reunions but sadly those closest to me in HS have passed (Sandi Pelose, Chris Davis Jennifer Estey), or moved on without contact much or at all. That saddens me, but people move on I guess. Volcano is still dear to my heart. We love the Volcano Theater Group in old art gallery/outside amphitheater. eaking upstairs to Masonic Lodge & Union Hotel, horse back riding with Al Mills as I shared my boyfriend conflicts), visiting Poggi's store, waving at Rosie everyday, Ken Jonas buying me lunch on Sundays, Sandi Pelose as my best friend, fellow Jug employee, and college roommate with Jenni Estey).
My husband and I travel a lot with friends, Headed to Maui in May; Oahu in Dec. before our 12 winter at Shadow Hills RV Resort in Indio. Leaving June 19 for Pacific NW & Canada RV trip. Hoping to see many of our friends along the way. And getting in 3 wks in Branson, MO with good friends Dixie & Ron, Can't believe it's been 50 yrs. since graduation. So glad to reconnect with Lodi High folks (as I was only there freshman year, but since I wasn't living at home that year your friendship meant a lot---especially our last period Lodi High class & friends from Clements who were like family (Sure would like to hear from the Roth family)
