Carole's Story
I went to Granada High from 1970 to 1972 then I transfered to Del Valle High and graduated June 1973.
I married Randy Cofer 8 months before graduating and I was 3 months along with my first child the day of graduation.
Randy entered the U.S. Airforce that same summer and we moved to Rantule, Ill for his Tech school. We then moved back to California and I've never left since. I don't really like to travel far from home.
We were then stationed in the Merced area and Randy worked at Castle AFB just outside Merced,CA.
We were there for 4 yrs and then he got out of the service and we moved back to the Bay Area. I lived in Pittsburg, Antioch, and then moved up to the foothills of California.
We had two sons while in the military. Soon after we moved to Columbia, CA we split, that was in 1984 and since then I met and married my husband Frank and we have been together ever since. We had a daughter in 1986 and in 1989 we pruchased the property we now ...Expand for more
live at just outside of Columbia,CA.
I raise goats, Toy poodles, and Chihuahuas. My husband rescues abused exotic birds, such as, Amazons, African Greys, etc. I just graduated Columbia College April of 2007 with a degree in Medical Office Management.
My oldest son, Eric, is a mechanic at a local dealership in Sonora. My 2nd son, Jason, is a certified ITT Tech in the greater Sonora area, and my youngest is my daughter Amber, who is a Bachelor of Fine Arts student at CSU Stanislaus here in California.
I started going grey at age 40 and for some strange reason it just won't stop. My husband says I have earned every strand.:):):).
When I married my husband Frank, I was also blessed with three step-children, two daughters and one son. Between Frank's kids and my two sons, and our daughter, we have 15 grandkids and not all of our kids are married yet, so they're not done yet. This makes for real fun at Christmas time. They are all precious gems.
