Caroline Brooks:  

College I've listed myself as a "friend" of the University of Arizona because, while I did not attend there, all of my immediate family did. My Mom and Dad before World War II, studying education (Mom) and mining engineering, later civil engineering (Dad). Mom was in the Navy during WWII stationed in Hawaii, and I've noted that on my profile too. My brother Ted attended the U of A in the mid-70s, doing first engineering and then pre-med, marrying his high school sweetheart along the way. So I'd love to hear from any genuine alumni, especially if you have or would like to visit New Zealand one day. Like myself and partner of 22 years, Ted and Kathy have now split up - we on better terms than they, or maybe we just don't discuss ourselves so openly - or harbour the spies in the nest that are the next generation! T and K's kids are wonderful & light up my life and My Space. More U of A alumni will remember brother Ted and cousin Karen, both of whom were grads of the 70s (like me, so far away). Both Brookses; I believe Karen's sister Rosalie and niece Colleen Butler also attended the U of A, as did Brother Roger Brooks, an architect in Tucson to this day, with his lovely wife Fil who owns and runs preschool education establishments (as last I heard).
