Pictures of Lake Tahoe from our timeshare porch - yes, that's snow on the ground in October. Beautiful body of water.
Thornburgh Ruby Cavaliers in our backyard - Scarlett is smaller, Red is the big one. They've got a squirrel treed (or maybe he's got them treed?). They'll sit like that and watch the critters for long stretches of minutes.

Anderson Elementary, estd. 1920. God only knows how many kids went through this school in it's 60 years of existence. Loved to take my shoes off and skid on the terrazo floors.

Our home at 504 N. 9th; now the location of the Presbyterian Church columburium. Snowed on my 7th birthday (February 13). 6 months later, no snow.

Red waiting patiently at the back door. I made it my screensaver and those solemn brown eyes are the best thing about being on the computer!
Fearless Hunters. They are looking up the tree as a squirrel shakes his tailfeathers at them, chirps and runs off across the tree canopy. They never fail to follow the chase!
I love this painting. Red & Scarlett look like this so often when they lie down to nap.
Taken in Jan 2008 - Scarlett is the smaller one and we had only had her for 2 or 3 days. I held her in my arms all the way to Dallas!
Not my puppy, but a superlative example of the beauty of a Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
