A lot has changed since high school !!!I live in the country but not far enough out! Looking out my front door to see only field and cows is divine! I love spending time in my large vegetable garden and purusing cookbooks for new ideas to cook my crops.I already have plans for expansion and to implement what I learned this year. My goal is to raise all my own food. I came close this year. I would enjoy "trading" tips and help me plan my gardens for next year. I am a good cook and I can a lot of the things I grow. My little man is Alexandrius "the great" my watch cat He lives outside and recently caught a "tree rat"--e.g. A squirrel. I flower garden too and squirrels eat my bulbs so I am glad Alex is quick enough to get them. Course my 22 long arm would take care of them and those dirty "wabbits" that try to eat my veggies, not to mention scaring the coyotes. I need to learn to have a better aim for this though. I visit Nashville two to three times a year. I have lived in North Carolina for 12 years, but I have lived in seven states all of them southern (if you count Hawaii which is in the South Pacific) But always pretty far from TN I still haven't traveled to all the places I want to see on my bucket list.(Places to go before you die) I still laugh at anything and make others laugh.I have a quick wit and laughing I think is es...Expand for more
