Ooh, I badly needed to update this profile!!
I am married to the absolute love of my life, Ben. He is so good to me!!
I am out of the Army Reserves. After deploying to Iraq and Kuwait in 2003-2004, I got commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in 2006. Please keep our troops in your prayers.
In the real world, I'm a teacher in an inner city school district. I love it!! I finished my Master's degree in March. I was a police officer for 5 years before that. I have a beautiful girl (15 YOA) named Rachelle. I'd love to hear from you, if you were in the class of 94. Tell me what's been up, and let's chat about our friends! I miss all of you!!!
School
I remember the skirts, the ponytail, the TAG class, the honors program, Honor Society, my frenz---riding the bus home, volleyball, planning my wedding, having so much fun!!! I miss high school at times.
College

Workplace
After working with the most awesome officers in Mississippi, it was hard to leave. Have you ever had a job that you enjoyed getting ready for? I mean, everyday is something different. I enjoyed investigating, catching DUI/DWIs, and helping others. Sometimes, I can get very frustrated with people that put us down or lump all of the good cops in a group of the few bad apples, but it was a fulfilling job that doesn't get a lot of respect, but the people I work with and the ones who tell us they appreciate us make it worthwhile.
Now, I teach science at an inner city school and I just love them. It's harder to reach them, but I try everyday.
Military
If I wasn't known as Private Z, to Spc z, Sgt Z then finally SSGT Z. I commissioned as Lt Z. So watch out for this ambitious soldier. All I can say is that the military made me realize that there are greater problems that go on in the world that are far bigger than my own and I feel like I am here to help. The military has only benefitted me in my life, making the time spent worthwhile.
