Carolyn's Story
Life
Well, it has been quite a ride! After 2 yrs. at PUC, from 1968 on I pretty much lived in the Maryland, Washington, D.C. area, earned my B.S. in Nursing at CUC. I missed out on keeping up with friends from GGA.
I have 1 very nice and kind husband, 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. Spending time with them and watching their little minds and personalities develop is one of my favorite things to do. Of course I enjoy hanging out with their parents also. Actually my son and his family have re-located to Maryland from San Diego, Calif., so now all my children and grandchildren are near by so we are together often and oh what fun that is with 3 toddlers, two boys and one girl and recently, a newborn grandson. My parents are in their 80's. They live in San Diego and like it there very much. My sister lives in San Diego, but she also travels to her little cottage by the Ocean in Hawaii about 4 times a year. We traveled out to San Diego to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary in April, 2008 with a big party!
I have worked as a Registered Nurse for 38 yrs. as of this April. Still working. Presently at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. in the Reproductive Endocrinology /Infertility Division. I have 17+ yrs. experience with that specialty and enjoy my work immensely. Still hoping to retire in less then 5 yrs. so I can enjoy my grandchildren, flower gardening, and whatever more goodness God grants me.
