Carolyn Davis's Story
Nov 2020: I am supposed to be retired from teaching but that only lasted 6 months. I began subbing at my old school but then COVID lockdowns happened. I am now tutoring with my own business and am crazy busy. I have a couple of learning pods as well as doing Zoom meetings. I am doing everything from 2nd grade curriculum up to Algebra 2. I am glad I can help out families who need to work but still need to be there to teach their children.
Hope whoever stops by is doing well during this unprecedented time of our lives.
Updates: I retired from full-time teaching this past May, 2019. I will return in January part time.
I currently have 2 grandsons who live 3000 miles,away. I work to travel to see them.
Hubby still working.
I still train Guide Dogs for the Blind, sew, garden,...Expand for more
and read.
Still would enjoy hearing from classmates.
Life
Currently teach math/science at a home study charter high school.
Love my job.
Live in El Dorado County and love it. Learned to ski after I turned 40, one of the perks of where I live-40 miles from the ski lifts.
I've been married since 1983.
Two children. Both College graduates and employed in their fields.

These questions are pretty lame. I was pretty nerdy in school. I took life pretty seriously but didn't once I got to Cal Poly. I dropped out after 2 years and it took 25 years to finish my B.A. I look back fondly on my H.S. years yet I know had I played my cards better, my life would have been different. I am happy now but it took a long time to understand how to be happy.
