Carolyn's Story

My life in nutshell: I have been happily married to John since 1981. We have four adult children and five grandchildren, so far. When my parents were this age, I thought that they were so old. I don't really feel much different than I felt in my twenties. nd into high school, which I thoroughly enjoyed. After three years in secondary education, I found myself back with the littles as a reading and math intervention teacher. I love life as a long-term sub; I never get bored. I am hoping to see more of my fellow Assumption classmates at the next Wood reunion. It would be fun to share smiles and hugs and see what everyone is up to.

I am emailing seniors about locating their library books so that they will be ready to return in June and I came across this meme. I love it! I think I want to make a poster out of it.
This is the view from my driveway. The electric wires are gone. We lost all of the trees around our back yard during a snow storm in March, 2018. I still haven't decided what to do with it.

Happy Siblings Day! This picture was taken the day of my Pop-pop's wedding in 1969. One of our McBride cousins took our picture before taking us on a tour of the neighborhood. I remember being amazed by the "El".
