One of our daughters is moving to Arkansas as well, so we have made several road trips back and forth between Colorado and Arkansas. I’ve come away with the realization that I’m too old for this and moving is for the birds! Our new home, though, is 5-7 minutes from both John’s sister’s home as well as John’s brother’s home. They are getting up there in age, so it is good we are close enough now to actually be of help when needed.

or aging, we are doing well here. God is good!
With all the turmoil that embraced the 50's and 60's, we really grew up in a great time in history. Thanks to Mr. Peters's government class, we actually studied how our government was set up to work and compared it to other forms of government. We could openly disagree with each other, and differences were considered a good thing. Sharing ideas helped us grow and expand our horizons. Now, so many of our young people don't have a clue. What is worse, they have been taught not to listen to any view other than their's or read any books that disagree with a liberal point of view.
