Carolyn's Story
Life
I am a writer by vocation and avocation. I am most proud of my 14 year old daughter, who started high school. I also study sign language, and volunteer with the Deaf and Hoh community. Recently, I have started weight training, tennis and running.
School

Iliff School of Theology 2000
and studied (ASL) American Sign Language in Colorado and New York.
Recently re-certified as a lifeguard, and was accepted to Southern's MLS program.
College

doubling my "terminal" degrees by adding a Master of Library Science (MLS) to my Master of Divinity (M.Div). I regret the debt, but not the education. My intention was to join the military as a chaplain, but my liberal heart decided against it after 9/11
Workplace
I'm still an aggressive rewriter. Three years ago I decided to give myself ten years to become an overnight success as a writer. In the meantime, I am also studying the more practical parts of life in order to buy a house and put my daughter through college.
