Carolyn's Story
Life
I was an only child for 8 minutes. Then life got interesting!
To sum it up, my life has pretty much written itself. I'm along for a glorious ride, and I've fallen off just a few times. Surrounded by creativity and antiques, husband included, I've been a teacher, playwright, composer, and sales person. But best of all has been as a mother. And recently as a mother-in-law!
Here's to what the future brings. It's like reading a book - which is one of my favorite activities - if I don't like what's happening, I go on to something else.
An exciting event just happened. I lucked on to a copy of the movie High Sch...Expand for more
ool starring Jane Withers. Made around 1940 about Jefferson HS,I saw our grand school in its infancy. Just a few months ago I sat in the gym to watch a 9th Grade basketball game. I secretly rooted for the opposing team because I know the coach very well. He's my son! And his team won.
More later. It's time to go antiquing!
October 2005 update: Survived the well-attended (?) 40th reunion. Now looking forward to next March 2006 when i will have a new title "Grandma!"
March 2006 Kaycie Elizabeth, our perfect granddaughter, made her arrival March 7th. We are in blissful shock! It's a whole new world we're entering.
