Carolyn's Story
Life
Graduated from Michigan State with a B.S. in Computer Science, currently working in the computer industry (not too surprising there, eh?). I am also a Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII) with some great students and have had some great flying adventures including the 2002 Air Race Classic, an all women's cross country air race. The latest adventure is ice hockey in a women's travel league.
College
MSU's campus was beautiful, especially in the fall with all the bonfires burning using overstuffed couches after losses to U of M. Or wins. Didn't real...Expand for more
ly matter. If there was an excuse to riot, well, we were right there to jump on it... ;-)
The Department of Public Safety was also a quality facility which I had the opporunity to visit multiple times to get my recently towed vehicle out of impound by paying off stacks of parking tickets. Yes, I was a connoiseur of fine illegal parking spaces.
Seriously though, my favorite professor was Dr. Larry Carey, of the American Thought and Language department. He was an inspiration and a mentor and I wish I knew where he was now or what happened to him.
