Carolynn's Story
Life
I met my husband in Port Alberni we were married in 1982. Our first daughter was born in 1983 and our second daughter was born in 1986. We moved around alot, Fernie, Port Alberni, Cumberland, Lax Kw'alaams, and finally Prince Rupert. My husband is self employed in fishing, forestry and his newest venture mining. I have experimented with several careers as well but my latest is my best I am a certified Payroll Supervisor and bookkeeper and I work for a corporation doing Accounts Payable and Payroll. of work spending money all day every day who could ask for a better job. Life has thrown us hurdles such as my open heart surgery in 1989, but we conquered together and raised our daughters to be strong independent women. No we did not win any lotteries but we get by. Our daughters have left home now, neither are married or have children. Our plans are to retire young and travel, we have been on our first of hopefully many cruises.
Well life is still bringing us more joys our first grandchild was born December 2007.
