Carrie's Story

Life Hello everyone! Hope everyone is doing great! I'm living in Wisconsin with my husband Jay. Moved here in April of 91 to go to school and never left. It is beautiful here, but I really miss the mountains and the ocean-even though Lake Michigan looks like the ocean, it is not the same. I currently work for a Welding Products company as a sales coordinator. I was married in October of 99. Met my husband 16 years ago and have never been happier in my life. I have a step-daughter named Krystal who is 21 years old. We are the best of friends. I am very lucky to have such a wonderful relationship with her. I am currently the Vice-President of the Fire Department Auxiliary in the town I live in. I live in Mayville WI which is a very small town of less than 4900 on the Rock River. It is very pretty here but kind of far from anything exciting. I am about a hour and a half north west of Milwaukee. I love to travel. Last ...Expand for more
year for our anniversary we went to Maine and I didn't want to come back. It is very beautiful there and the people are so nice. We made a lot of new friends and can't wait to go back this year to celebrate our anniversary again. I would love to hear from all of you, so send me an e-mail and let me know what is new in your lives! 1ninerfan at sbcglobal . net. I have some recent news to tell you all. Back in June I was diagnosed with AML which is a very agressive Leukemia. I just finished my "last round" of chemo and seem to be doing ok. We will know soon if I am still in remission after another bone marrow biopsy. Has been a long 7 months so far but I have been positive through most of this so I believe it has helped me become a stronger person and has led me to believe that I can accomplish anything I set my mind too.
