Life
Hello everyone! I have not strayed too far from home. Went to CSU for a couple of years...I was roomates with Marci Hioco for a year....we had a blast....didn't do much homework though! I decided I needed to just work for a while untill I decided what I really wanted to do. I wound up working at good old StorageTek for about 10 years!! (Wasn't the plan...just worked out that way!) During that time I got an Associates degree in Electronics (Yes Mr. Bedore.....MATH!!) I really enjoyed my time at STK, but I didn't like always waiting to be layed off! While there I was part of an Emergency Response Team that got me interested in the medical field. After much research, and observation I decided that dentistry seemed pretty interesting.....so I started taking Dental Assisting classes. I took a job at a Pediatric Dental office in Westminster and I stayed there for about 3 years. I loved working with the kids! It was very challenging and exhausting! We worked with a lot of special needs kids as well as a lot of kids with behavior problems that kept them...Expand for more
from going to a general dentist. There were also just a lot of great kids whose parents just chose to take them to an office that specializes in kids. I loved the work...unfortunately some of the people I worked with were not very nice people. I'm pretty easy going....but after 3 years of watching a lot of petty behavior (and I thought the clicks in high school were bad!!), I decided to move on. I worked for about 3 and a half years for the Dentist who I had gone to for years. Things were great there for a while....and I loved the people I was working with. Some things started happening that some of us didn't like...so a small group of us found a better situation in a small office in Broomfield. I work my tail off...but it is a very rewarding work environment. I have niece and nephew who live about 5 hours away from me, and I adore them and try to spend as much time with them as I can. I haven't been as lucky in my love life as I have at work....but I haven't given up hope yet! Looking forward to the next reuinion to see what everyone has been up to!
