sition available when I graduated. I have a Associate Degree in General Education with classes mostly in accounting and business admin. Workplace My first job was at Burger King for two years while I was attending New Bern High School(1994-96). After graduation I was employeed by Target for a few months. James and I moved to Edenton, NC for a few months where I was unemployeed. After returning to Bridgeton, I worked at Moen in the braizing department for a few months in 1997 as well as Watkins Construction Company as a fire watch for about 4 months at the end of 97. I also worked at CCC for 2 years while I attended classes from May 1998 thru August 2000. I was employed by Ward & Smith, PA from March thru June 2001. We started our trucking company in October 2001, which I take care of all of the bookkeeping and other paperwork...which lasted until Jan. '06. November 2001 I went to work at Down East Insurance where I was expected to answer 7 phone lines and all incoming traffic in the office as well as filing and the usual office duties for minimum wage so I left there to stay home full time. I am currently looking for employment again... Military I am a military brat. My father, Elmer Henry Gabel Jr., served in the United States Marine Corps for 24 years of his 48 years of life. Sixteen of those years he was married to my mother and I was 10 years old when they divorced. After the divorce, he requested orders to Norfolk, VA. and later retired from Beaufort, SC. He was living in Bethune, SC and had gone to work for Walmart distribution warehouse as a fork lift operator. He passed away on Friday, April 27, 2001. He was at home with his wife around 5am when he died. The cause of death was coronary artery disease and lung congestion which contributed to a massive heart attack. He is greatly missed.
