Carroll's Story
Life
After graduation I went to X-Ray school at Cincinnati General Hospital for two years. During the Christmas season of 1960 I made the biggest mistake of my life. In May '61 I married a RN I met while in training at CGH. Joined the Air Force in '61 after X-Ray school. (See military service section.) Passed my national boards in '62 and became a Registerd Technician (R.T.) We had two daughters, Jana Maria and Angela Michelle. We divorced in '76 after 15 years. Married Pat in '77 after I went to Germany. She has a son, Dennis. He has a daughter, December Ann, who lives with her mother in Wisconsin. She is the first grand baby. Michael is a TSgt (USAF). He was a computer programmer for the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the Pentagon. They are now stationed at Randolph AFB, TX, just across town. Jana Maria and Bryan have two sons, Christopher and Dakota. Angela is still single. Retired in '85 and returned to Germany to live from '85 - '95. Worked for AAFES as an operations clerk/accounting technician. Returned to US in '95 due to the low US dollar rate. Hope to win the lottery so I can afford to live in Germany again. Actually, I would probably go to Austria, or possibly Switzerland. Lived in El Paso,TX til '02, moved to San Antonio,TX in Feb '02.
