Diane's Story
I got married 4 months after graduation. Moved to Sharon Tn, my husband's home town. Next lived in Herron, Illinois, then back to Memphis. Had my son (now almost 42) and my daughter (almost 40) in Memphis. Lived in Charleston, SC for about a year. Divorced, back to Memphis. Married again in 1979. Went to nursing school. Lived in Memphis until 1995, when we moved to Cloudcroft, NM. Lived in Cloudcroft for 7 years. Moved to Albuquerque in 2003 until the present. We just sold our house and are headed to Savannah Ga. I want to go back to the south, and spent about 3 months in Savannah a couple of years ago and loved it. We will stay at Tybee Island Ga while we house hunt, probably in Richmond Hill Ga. airly typical, run of the mill. I am retired now. Really missed working for about 5 years. Now wonder how I had the time to work. I read a lot, watch too much tv, go to the gym about 4 days a week (or did before we started getting the house ready to sell) We sold the house in 11 days.I was pretty pleased for this economy.
My music tends towards oldies and country. Also really like Jazz. We have a GREAT radio station here that I will be able to get in Savannah. realoldies1600, They play only 50's and 60's. Really takes you back. Computers are wonderful, sometimes. I have a maltese dog and a poodle granddog that I keep a lot. My daughter is a travel nurse, so I babysit often.
