Life After high school I moved to Ft Worth, Texas for an adventurous time that ultimately introduced me to my husband, Chris, we were set up on a blinddate by mutual friends. We were married in 1982, he worked in sales and I worked in Oil & Gas Acctg. We had a son in 1987 and a daughter in 1989. I loved living in the DFW area but felt that my kids were missing out by being so far from their grandparents,and also, our lives were pretty fast paced there. For the past 10 years I've been involved with Avon and their multi-level marketing program and love it, yes you can make a very nice living as an "Avon Lady", or in my case a "Senior Executive Unit Leader". Chris got out of sales and went to work for Home Depot 2 years ago. Since both jobs were flexible and transferable, in June 2001 we packed up and moved North to Tulsa, Oklahoma.
