Cassandra's Story
Life
After high school I pursued my degree in elementary ed. In 1999 I met my husband. We moved to Maui, Hawaii in 2000 for a job opportunity, and spent 4 wonderful years there. In 2004 we moved to the coast to be closer to family, and now have 2 daughters, ages 4 and 2. We recently moved to Springfield, OR. It's a welcomed change...mostly in the fact that I don't have to drive 45 minutes to go grocery shopping! " )

ently taking time off of teaching to stay home with the girls. They're growing fast, and I don't want to miss the opportunity of watching them grow...I'll have plenty of time for teaching later. In the meanwhile, I own/operate an in-home day care/preschool as a way to meet other families in the community and to provide an income for my family. It's definitely giving me the opportunity to combine the things I love.
