Cassie's Story
After graduating from Valley Christian and Pacific HS, I attended La Verne College, Monterey Institute of International Studies and University of Strasbourg, France. I obtained a teaching credential and taught for about 3 years. Then I worked for Fluor Corporation in Irvine for 7 years before moving back to San Bernardino and going to work for the City of Riverside where I retired from my position...Expand for more
as Training Administrator. During that time, I married my dear Maurice and we had 25 years before he passed away in 2011. I am now a happy retiree, healthy (thank God), physically active (I love hiking around the area) and busier than I was when I was working. I also care for my 98-year-old mother. Together, we take many day trips together as traveling for long distances is now difficult for her.
