Catharine's Story
Life
After Mitchell, I went to UCCS (first class to graduate with four years there) and studied chemistry. Then on to medical school in Denver. An Army scolarship paid for medical school so it was on to the Army as Captain Clark. I spent 6 weeks in my senior year in San Francisco and fell in love with the city. Medicine and geriatrics in 1982. I was married and eventually divorced (thus the hyphenation of the name--it seemed too complicated after 20 years of hyphenation to undo it) I have been in private practice since 1990. I have been writing poetry for the last fifteen years. There are a number in print. My first book of poetry, One Breath, was published by Tebot Bach Press in November 2008. My second book, Lifeboat, will be out in 2010
