Catherine (Cathy)'s Story
I fondly look back on my time at SPA as a boarder. I graduated in 1960 aand remember Bunny Luft and all the other boarders from Chicago.
My sister, Paula (Bieniek) Coolsen also graduate from SPA in 1963.
I married in 1961 and have 4 daughters -- Eileen 48, Patty 47, Margaret 46 and the youngest Kris 41. I have one grandson, Cody, who just graduated from high school. I divorced my first husband in 1978 then raised my daughters and married my second husband (Rich) in 1986. He died in 2000. I worked at Northwestern University (the Evanston caampus) Kellogg Graduate School as an office manager...Expand for more
in one of the academic offices. I retired early in 2002 and moved from Evanston, Illinois to Wauconda, Ill. (a far NW suburb of Chicago) in Lake county. I'm very involved in volunteer work and belong to two clubs in Wauconda that keep me busy.
That's it in a nutshell.
I like to travel and have been to Hawaii (all the various islands) 20 times and usually go to Orlando, FL each fall. In other words, I'm "into Mickey" and like to see the changes at the parks.
I'd like to see what other '60 alumni have been doing and where they live.
