My Spouse:
I met Bob at a High School Dance in 1956, he asked me to dance and asked if he could walk me home. He was a cutie. Our mothers went to school together in a one room school house in Long Run, PA. The classes went from first grade to eighth. One of the teachers who taught at that school happened to be Bob's second cousin Mary. A very small world indeed, well, especially in a little town called Lehighton, PA. ;) We moved to Riverside, California, in 2011 and since all of our children and grandchildren are west of the Rockies, it makes it easier for all of the visits.
Bob and I lost touch after High School, he went off to college and to the Air Force, but we met again in January 1965, we were married 3 1/2 weeks later, that was over 46 years ago.
We are still "best friends" and know that it will always be that way for us. It's pretty scary sometimes, we actually THINK alike and finish each others sentences! Now that's funny.
Our Children:
Kelly Sue is married to Gary Hartle and has four children, all married, and one grandson, living in Gig Harbor in the state of Washington. Her children: Thaddeaus Patrick, married to Keren, Jessica Irene, married to Gary, Jacquelyn Rae, married to Aaron and Kayla Elizabeth, married to Clayton.

Our daughter Kathi Jo has one daughter named Jacquelyn Danielle. Kathi Jo owns and operates a Day Care Center called Club Kid, in San Jacinto, CA.

oy and wife Lori, live in Prescott Valley, AZ, has four children, Robert Drew, Michael Quinn, Brooklynne Dawn and Nicolas Allen. They are one of those unusual close knit families.

Our adopted daughter Lora is married to John MacKay from Melborne, Australia, and are living in La Quinta, CA They have two daughters Marina and Miranda, married to Derek Spink from Vista, CA. Lora is a Bank Mgr. in La Quinta and John works in sales for a Cable company in Palm Desert, CA...near Palm Springs.

(My Daddy got to see the picture of his first great great grandson just before he passed away to that horrible disease Lymphoma. He left us on his 92nd birthdate. Our mother is still with us at almost 97!) She now resides at the Summit Nursing Facility in Lehighton.

We do a lot of traveling, and with our children living in Washington state, Southern California and Arizona, we get to see them pretty often.

We no longer visit Lehighton, the home we used to know belongs to someone else now, and it could never be the same. "Home" is another place in time now.

For those in the class of 1960, the years have passed rather quickly. We've gone our separate ways, and ventured into lives of our own making. It sure has been an adventurous trip for Bob and me, we have traveled to places we've never dreamed of, and now it is time for the "winter time" of life, enjoying the memories.
