Catherine's Story
Life
I married Eric J. Sisk on March 3, 1972 at St. Al's Church on the beautiful Gonzaga U campus. March of 2003 was our 30th anniversary! We moved to Seattle in January 1978. We have two sons, Roderic, age 28 and John, age 21.
Eric is the Supervisor of the Echocardiography Lab at Harborview Medical Center. He is nationally recognized in his field and is active in professional accreditation of ECHO labs. I am the Director of Materials Management & Logistics at Children's Hospital & Regional Medical Center in Seattle. I have been at Children's for over 24 years, and I can't imagine a more wonderful place to work. Our son, Roderic, graduated from the UW in English and completed a Webmaster Associate of Science degree. He proposed to Wendy Sparks, his sweetheart of 9 years, on May 1st; they have not yet set a date. Wendy has her MS in psychology from CWU. Roderic and Wendy reside in Sequim, WA.
Our son, John, graduated May 17 from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood, where he transferred after 2 years at the UW. He was awarded the Charles Jehlinger Award for Excellence in Acting. He has an independent film in the works, plus will be at the Southcoast Rep Theatre in Costa Mesa this summer.
I enjoy gardening, genealogy, photography, travel, and my 2 wonderful cats, Cheech and Bucho. I'd love to hear from fellow alums!
