Catherine's Story
Life
I'm married with 2 daughters and 2 Grandsons. My husband and I were married in November, 1971 in St. Francisville, LA. We now live in River Ridge, LA about 6 miles from New Orleans. My husband owns a crane rental business. I just recently retired (June, '05). I worked as Executive Assistant to the President and Owner of a privately owned DNA testing lab.
We have 3 grandsons: Craig John Doize, who was born on 8/31/2004, Kyle Davis Doize who was born on April 10, 2006, and Austin Wyatt Doize who was born on December 30, 2008. We also have a granddaughter, Brinley Brignac, born 7 weeks prematurally on December 28, 2009. My husband'...Expand for more
s name is Marty Deshotel and we have 2 daughters, Renee Yvette Deshotel Doize (mother of the boys) and Michele Christine Deshotel Brignac (mother of the granddaughter).
Over the years, I have worked as a paralegal (11 years) and as an Executive Assistant for a cellular phone company, a retail clothing store, a hospital, a temp. service, and the DNA lab. I became a stay-at-home mom until the girls were in high school.
At the moment, I am involved in my grandsons and granddaughter. Both parents work, so I get to go on field trips. Because the 2 older brothers are in school, the paternal grandparents and my husband and I do this a lot.
